Recap Hours 20-24

And here’s what you missed at the UNC Dance Marathon:

Hour 21:

The kid co-captains started to arrive! The dancers played a variety of games with the kids, including basketball, volleyball and cornhole in the Carolina Dining Services Gym (Gym B).

Hour 22:

There were more great performances, including by two fantastic jump roping teams! DJ Ever then played some awesome throwbacks to get dancers pumped up before Family Hour.

Hour 23:

Some of the kid co-captains performed in their very own talent show. There was dancing, singing, poetry reading and more! At the end, all of the dancers participated in a Wobble flash mob for Cameron, the kid co-captain of Team 7 - To the Fantastic Floor.

Hour 24:

During Family Hour, all of the kid co-captains and their families were introduced. Four of the parents then spoke about their experiences involving N.C. Children’s Hospital and UNC-DM.

The dancers then watched some videos that recapped the whole year and the marathon before the Overall Committee revealed the final total - $430,181.68!! A couple of kid co-captains then gave the final countdown before all of the dancers got to sit down! Congratulations to all of the dancers, and thank you to everyone who made it all happen!
