Volunteers
Thank you for your interest in becoming a student volunteer at the 2007 UNC Dance Marathon! Volunteers are an integral part of the Marathon and contribute to its overall success year after year. Volunteers help the Marathon run more smoothly and efficiently, and ensure a level of cohesiveness that would otherwise not be possible.
All volunteer shifts last approximately 3 hours. Responsibilities are grounded in logistical operations, and include tasks such as stage maintenance, housekeeping, facilities, security, and meal distribution. You can help set up and clean up by signing up for shifts before 7pm on Friday and after 7pm on Saturday.
By participating as a volunteer, you are supporting not only our campus and community but also the families and children of the North Carolina Children’s Hospital whose lives are directly affected by Dance Marathon.
For more information on volunteering at this year’s Marathon, contact our Operations Chair, Andrew Edwards.
